How to make white willow bark extract salicin ?<\/h5>\n

Firstly, The white willow bark crushed into small sections of I-2cm, and add 95% ethanol solution. Then after ultrasonic extraction twice, the raw material refluxed for 2 hours.Then twice extraction, filtered, and combined with the extraction solution.<\/p>\n

Secondly,Concentrate the extraction solution under reduced pressure. Dilute the concentrated solution with 6 times water, let it stand. Then filter it, and adjust the filtrate with macroporous adsorption resin on the filtrate to saturation.<\/p>\n

Thirdly,The macroporous resin used is AB-8 macroporous adsorption resin.It is washed with water to a pH value of 7.0. Then, analyze the solution with 80% ethanol, collect the solution. Then recover the ethanol under reduced pressure to obtain the concentrated solution of salicylic acid.<\/p>\n

1. Treat fever, cold, and infection
\nAs a “natural aspirin”, salicin can treat mild fever, cold, infection (influenza), acute and chronic rheumatic discomfort, headache and pain caused by inflammation. Aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid), as a synthetic substitute for salidroside, has potential gastrointestinal hazards and side effects.<\/p>\n

As its natural form, salidroside can be harmlessly converted into salicylic acid through the gastrointestinal system in the blood and liver. The conversion process takes several hours, so the results will not be immediately felt by the human body. But the general efficacy will last for several hours.<\/p>\n

An experiment found that a type of herbal compound containing 100mg salidroside can effectively improve the pain relief ability of arthritis patients after continuous use for two months. And another experiment found that consuming 1360mg of white willow bark extract (containing 240mg of salidroside) daily for two weeks can have better efficacy in treating joint pain and\/or arthritis.In that case the use of high-dose white willow bark extract may also help alleviate lower back pain. Meanwhile, A four week experiment found that a white willow bark extract containing 240mg of salidroside can effectively alleviate the worsening of lower back pain.<\/p>\n
