Description
Introduction of Cordyceps Sinensis Mushroom Extract
Cordyceps sinensis extract is a water or alcohol extract of precious traditional Chinese medicine Cordyceps sinensis. Its main active ingredients are nucleoside compounds and polysaccharides, which have anti-inflammatory, anti-tumor, and immune enhancing effects. Can be used for beauty and moisturizing, anti wrinkle and whitening, delaying aging, fitness and disease prevention, etc.
Anti-cancer.
Bok separated two kinds of anticancer sterols from the methanol extract of Cordyceps sinensis using the activity guided separation method, and found that the glycosylation form of choledochosterol is a better inhibitor of K562 Jurkat, WM1341, HL-60 and RPM8226 cancer cell lines. In addition, Nakamura and Zhang, etc. confirmed that some components of Cordyceps sinensis have significant anti melanoma effects in mice.
Antioxidant.
The analysis of the aqueous extracts of the fruiting body and worm body of Cordyceps sinensis shows that the chemical components of the two parts are similar. In addition, the two parts show similar antioxidant activity in xanthine oxidase analysis, hemolysis induction analysis and lipid peroxidation analysis. Using the ion exchange and gel filtration chromatography separation methods guided by antioxidant activity, a polysaccharide with a molecular weight of about 210 kDa can be separated from the mycelium culture of Cordyceps sinensis. The experiment shows that the polysaccharide has strong antioxidant activity. Yamaguchi found that artificially cultivated Cordyceps sinensis water and ethanol extracts have potential antioxidant and anti lipid peroxidation activity. And it can inhibit the accumulation of cholesterol esters in macrophages by inhibiting low-density fat.
Effects on the liver.
Manabe et al. studied the effect of artificially cultivated ordyceps sinensis mycelium on liver energy metabolism in mice with dietary iron deficiency anemia. They observed a continuous increase in liver B-ATP in mice fed with Cordyceps sinensis mycelium for 4 weeks. Zhang et al. found that Cordyceps sinensis can inhibit liver cell damage caused by CC14 and prevent liver fibrosis, but Cordyceps sinensis cannot prevent the decrease of liver insulin enzyme activity.
Effects on cardiovascular system
The water extract of cultured Cordyceps sinensis mushroom extract has a significant inhibitory effect on the increased serum lipid peroxide and cholesterol deposition in aorta of atherosclerosis mice. Chioul studied that the protein components of Cordyceps sinensis can lower blood pressure and lead to vasodilation activity in mice. Then he found that intravenous injection significantly reduced average arterial blood pressure in a dose-dependent manner. And it also caused large artery dilation in a dose-dependent manner.
