β-carotene Beta Carotene(C40H56) is one of the carotenoids, an orange yellow lipid soluble compound, which is the most common and stable natural pigment in nature. Belonging to a family of natural chemicals (such as carotenoids or carotenoids). It is abundant in plants, giving fruits and vegetables a full yellow and orange color.

The appearance of the pure product is a crystalline powder ranging from reddish purple to dark red, with a slight peculiar odor. β – carotene dilute solution is orange yellow and easily soluble in organic solvents such as dichloromethane, chloroform, and carbon disulfide.
